Finally!
The 1st IT Show of 2008 came to an end today.

To all the people that worked in the show:

Well done! Thank you very much for the hard work you people have put in.
I know it's a tough 4 days for LG people because of the VERY low sales.
Blame the LG boss for not heavily competing with the rest of the brand.
But that's not my problem anyway.

Anyway, being at the redemption booth really suck.
Why, you might ask?

When the goods are missing, you'll be responsible even though you know that you're damn sure that you didn't misplace them.

When you key in the information correctly but they just can't stand the way you phrase it, you're in deep trouble(Mind you, I do write perfect English).

When the information list you key-ed is in a mess, you'll also be in deep trouble even though you know that it wasn't you that messed it up(Obviously it's THEM that messed it up and you just have to clean the shit left by them).

$50 a day from 11am to 9pm is the lousiest pay because you have to be there early even though they say your work STARTS at 11am! And you have to stay back for more than an hour even though they say work ends at 9pm and not getting paid for the extra hours. Why? Because it is the unwritten rules that we have to stay back to help pack and double check the stock in the store to make sure everything is in order. So basically you'll reach home at around midnight. Cool right!?

I know I like to complain and whine.
But this is to let other people know on how some companies treated their staffs when they slog their life out for them.
They show no sign of appreciations, only call you when they need you, treat you nice nice when they need you to do something for them(Like buy coffee, or do something that isn't related to your job!).

The bottom line is VERY very simple...
if you're not getting paid for the extra hours, then don't work for it.
don't do company any favours(Like working extra time without getting paid) because they're just taking advantage of the "friendship".
Remember that the line between employee and employer is VERY clear.
If they step beyond the line(Be it employee or employer), ask them to step back or be prepared because you might just be another victim of free labour.
That's all for today's lesson (:

I wanna thank Kerlise for helping me get the Topman Jacket before it runs out of stock!
Thankfully it was the last piece of size M and she managed to get it for me!
Yay!
