I've been on the road for like..
9 months?

And I've NEVER been involved in an accident involving other cars except for my own errors like..
Couldn't brake in time on slippery roads and fell
Stepped on a leaf while waiting for green light to appear and slipped

All these minor little accidents don't really mean much

Then I had a well.. more of a major accident compared to the minor ones
But to the major ones, I'm like so minor

I was driving along Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 at around 45- 50km/hr in the center lane
And I saw a taxi coming out of the minor lane turning towards the right from far
I'm from his right going to his left
Then.. Yeah.. He braked right in the middle of my lane and I ram right into him

Okay! Not exactly ram but yeah, I braked as hard as I could to try and reduce the damage and swerve a little to my left and there.
My bike is on the ground with my clutch broken into half.

Of cause we exchanged our much less heated argument right in the middle of the road and he agreed to go to the side of the road and settle it

The conversation was in the mixture of Hokkien and Chinese..
Me, Taxi driver, My dad

" What the hell is that for? "
" What the hell are you doing in the middle of the road? "
" I'm turning right what "
" Yeah, then why you stop? "
" Because I was waiting for the bus to pass by "
" Then who say you can stop there? "
" I turning leh, now you hit me my fault? "
" Of cause its your fault, why you stop there? "
" Like I said, I waiting for bus to pass by "
" Law say you can stop in the middle of the yellow box meh? "
" You no need see both side for cars then you cross? "
" When I turn I see your side no cars what "
" If you see your side no cars, then I what? "
" I fake de ah? "
" If you see no cars then I standing here talking to you for what? "
" So now how? "
" What how? My clutch broken leh, I can't go home and I stay in Woodlands leh "
" My car also spoil, my damage not little leh "
" Is that even my problem? "
" If you never smart alec and stop there will we be here? "

He keeps quiet for 5 minutes

Then my father came and I told him the incident

" Why not this, I pay you $50 we case close "
" If I hit your car, I pay you $3 we case close, you want? "
" Then how? "
" Simple, I bring to bike shop you pay for the damages "
" Then my car how? I also suffer damages leh "
" Is that my problem? "
" Even if your car is crushed, its not even my problem "

My dad exchange contact with the driver and took a nice and careful look at his car

" Ehhh how you hit him? "
" Ermmms, my handlebar's balancer smack into his ass lo "
" Your bike like okay leh but his car really is serious damage lo "
" Really? O.o "
" Ya, his ass is flat leh "
" Hahaha! Is that even my problem? "

I had to park my bike at Ang Mo Kio because I couldn't find my bike shop's tow car no.
And the next day when I went to claim my bike, I got a summon for -.-!
