If you look at the time of my posting, you'll be wondering where am I as I'm suppose to be in camp now. Then again if you look at the time now, it seems like I'm at home because for a SAF soldier, 2236 is already way past the bed time.
For a matter of fact, I'm in my bunk right now listening to The White Tie Affair - Candle (Sick And Tired). Yes yes yes, it IS already past bed time over here in SISPEC.
I'm sneaking up late just so I could blog and rant about stuff on this little journal of mine. Oh! And yes, SAF do provide us each with a laptop to use for some of our lesson (:
Anyway, have you seen my post title? If you do a google search, you'll know Topograhic Map. It sounds really really simple when you read it. But it goes way beyond what you can imagine when you have to use it.
Navigation through real jungle terrain. Yup, jungle terrain is fine (: But what's so frustrating about this nonsense is that I did it just after the rain stopped. So yeah, you can guess that it's probably massively muddy and slippery inside. Not to mention our jungle terrain is NOT flat. It goes up and down like probably 45 degrees?
The worst part about this activity is that a night navigating is also required. WTShit?! Oh, did I mention that we can't use a torchlight to navigate? WTShit double combo!
Just when I thought that this is enough to get me pulling my hair, they said that we'll be doing it alone. WTShit triple combo! Alone in the dark at night where torchlight is strictly out of bound?!
After all these real deep shit, there is, at least, one good news. I'm made it through and alive! (:
